In our opinion, you know a city when you know where to go to get the most special gift for a special friend of yours. And this applies to art galleries as well. Of course, not every person in the world is interested in artistic pictures, furniture or art, in general. But those who do, they see these places as treasures of the city. A place where you can go to emerge from the cavalcade.
On the 26th of January, Nadia and I went to one of our stores’ event, Majourie, organized in Cologne – an art gallery for interior and design.
Before telling you anything about the gallery and the event itself, let me say some words about the owner Mirjam Jansen. She is one of the kindest person I ever met. Her charming personality combined with a great passion for design makes Mirjam a person you would definitely want to be friends with. She really makes this industry as close to people as possible.
With the café she has in the gallery, she wants to provide a nice atmosphere for people who are a little afraid of the usual “too-silent-too-serious galleries”.
For SugarTrends, it is really important to have a good connection to our shop owners. We believe it is relevant that the shop owners do not only have a good combination of skills to run a business, but they have a personal approach and style, and that they make people love what they are passionate about.
That is what makes SugarTrends special in the end. Our collection of shops is a community of artists, designers, all people who have good taste, and outstanding attitude to products.
We are the webshop, a so-to-day online shop window for Majourie, and we are very happy to have them on SugarTrends!
Right now at Majourie’s webshop on SugarTrends you can find bags that were part of a photo exhibition. To see the bags, you can visit Majourie’s page here.
This time, the event held at Majourie’s was called VIP-Shopping, and the name of the exhibition was “Colour-Culture-Clash”. The exhibition was placed to this exclusive environment where you can enjoy the Prosecco & Finger Food, surrounded by nice lovely people sharing the same passion for design, quality and art.
For Nadia and I, it was very nice to see the street art and graffiti paintings on the wall, the alternative jewelry made of old skateboards and some other attractive pictures. Overall, getting to meet so many nice interesting people and trying out the coffee and all those tasty cookies, was an experience that will not be forgotten anytime soon. 🙂
We hope you enjoyed reading the blog post! Also, feel free to leave any comments below! We are very talkative people 😉
